Wilderness Canoe/camping trip
Region: New England Activity Type: Kayaking/Canoeing Place: Erroll, NH
Hey Guys. New to the Group and haven't had a chance to attend a hike yet as I work 6 days/54 hours, only day off is Sunday. Nonetheless, hope to take a long weekend sometime this summer, a Thursday through Sunday and would ebe interested in getting a group together for a wildernedd canoe/camping trip on Lake Unbagog in Erroll, NH. I have been there many times and I can guide the group Since I am by myself, I would be able to take 1-2 people in my canoe, and others with their own canoe would be more than welcome. This would be a clothing optional trip for those so inclined. Let me know what you guys think of the idea. Hope to attend an event soon and meet some of you guys.
Love the idea. Know the area very well. GO has worked with canoe companies in the past on discounted rentals. One company located right in Errol so there would be no need to haul canoes. I am interested regardless of group size. Beautiful place summer and fall. Keep me posted and contact directly if you want to discuss.
I think this is a great idea now that things have come back to somewhat normal & many fully vaccinated. Am new to North country & would love to explore & experience the surroundings. As for clothing optional I’m all for that as I go into Vermont for it as NH isn’t a nude friendly state. So not sure if it’ll work in the area your planning. I’m new to kayaking & haven’t kayak/ camped yet. Please keep me updated on further info through here or email.
I am interested. Just need a heads up for the dates.Don't have a canoe or tent though but wouldn't mind camping with someone else.
I might be up to sleeping in a tent 1 night without electricity. I have a kayak, but not much will fit in it.
Great idea. Have spent a lot of time up there and north of Errol. Love to fish the Rapid River. Thursday to Sunday could be challenging this year but maybe connect with the group for part of the time. Contact me anytime.
Has this idea gone by the wayside or are plans still being made?
Hey Guys, thanks for the interest, but the weather was not that cooperative this year, and now it is too late in the season, so lets keep the idea alive for next year and hope the weather is better
