Coosa Trail @ Vogel

It is time for the winter weather to break & Saturday is supposed to be beautiful! I am itching for a good hike in the mountains. Anyone else?

Coosa is a trail up in the GA mountains, with parking in the Vogel State Park. This is a good hike but not crazy... no massive incline, no rock scrambling, no parched deserts. But it is long. Don't be fooled by sites that say it's a 12 mile trail... that doesn't include the 2 miles from the parking lot to the trailhead (which I personally think is deeply unfair). That said, this trail should be beautiful with all the fresh budding everything.

I'll be heading up from Johns Creek, planning to start hiking from the parking lot at 10a. If you bring your own water, I'd be happy to have the company.
