About me:
: Currently 55 years of age and hoping
for many more (but SLOWLY). Not a
hardcore outdoors guy, but looking for
something different and a bit
adventurous (I'm not getting a Harley
or a tattoo in mid life--no objection to
those that do--but I'll settle for nature).
Favorite Places:
: Somewhere else, and different.
Traveled niftily in my 20s, not so
much in my 30s and 40s. Went to
Bhutan for my 50th birthday, Vietnam
last year--but no favorite nature spots
per se.
Outdoor Experience:
: A novice at just about everything
outdoors, though I am open water
scuba certified. Used to ski in junior
high school, back in the days when
"portable electronic device" meant
"Walkman."
