• About me: : Nature geek with special interest in plants. Love quiet trails in the woods but also enjoy urban hiking. Bilingual English and Spanish, with varied intellectual and cultural interests, politically left. Love independent travel and long stays in interesting places. I’m a big (nonreligious) fan of the Camino De Santiago in Spain, and can’t wait to be able to go on my fifth Camino, hopefully with some GO buddies! Usual abode Western Mass; often in the White Mtns and also S Florida. Enjoy hiking for the exercise and the sights along the way. Not particularly interested in testing the limits of my endurance, but in reasonably good shape. Like to keep my clothes inside my pack rather than on me whenever possible. Flexible schedule, prefer weekday activities in less crowded locales, quiet trails and secluded spots to take a dip and/or lounge around naked.

• Outdoor Experience: : Fairly experienced , have led many nontechnical hikes/walks/treks in New England, North Cascades/Olympics, northern Spain, Swiss Alps, Greece, Italy, California, and Mexico.
