Basin (4827') and Saddleback (4515') Mountains are in the top of the ADK 46er list (Adirondack 4,000 footers). Basin is number 9 of 46 while Saddleback is number 15 of 46. Both these peaks are part of "The Great Range."

The Osa Pennisula in Costa Rica

I spent 4 days in the Osa Penisula using the Iguana Lodge as my home base. First, the people at the lodge were top rate, especially my bartenders Andre and Luis. The Salsa night at the resort was $5 for a feast and all the locals came and danced. THese people can dance like I can drive a car. beautiflly and without hesitation. Top rate. We woke up to howler monkeys and macaws every day.
