Higher Summits Forecast for the hike tomorrow: Mostly sunny, High upper 40s, Wind NW 30-45mph increasing to 40-55mph. We will be having lunch on the summit so bring a warm parka and/or windbreaker. The brisk wind will blow away any pesky black flies. (Yeah!)

Correction on the temperature on previous post: Forecast is for a high of 77 & Sunny

Weather is looking great for our hike on Sunday- sunny & 85! We will be spotting two cars at the Caps Ridge Trailhead. Hikers should plan to meet up at the Castle Trailhead at 845AM for a 900AM start. I will bring a cooler with icy beverages to enjoy after the hike. Also, all are welcome to come to my house near Franconia Notch after the hike for a dip in the pond, showers, & hang out on the deck. (Lodging available at the house Sat & Sun nights). Looking forward to an awesome hike!
