Kevin (HPC72) will be moving back to Taiwan this winter. He has been a wonderful hiking buddy and we are getting together for a meal before he goes. We are meeting on Saturday, 12/9, at 3
P.F. Chang's is at 8 Park Plaza D6, Boston, MA 02116. There is a parking lot under Boston Common in addition to other parking garages in the area.
We've known Kevin for 4 years. He is a hiking machine with a love of the outdoors! Kevin is headed off to Taiwan to be with family. We will miss his spirit, good heart, and smile.
Fifteen of us got together at P. F. Chang's in Boston for a farewell dinner. The room was filled with laughter, cheer, and stories of Kevin. We wrapped up dinner by giving him a photo book of pictures of him hiking with his GO friends and one of our vintage t-shirts. We then strolled over to Boston Common for a festive walk under the holiday lights. After, we were treated to a dozen irresistible Insomnia Cookies by Kevin. We walked down to Fanuel Hall, catching the tail-end of a street performance. We ended our walk in Christopher Columbus Park and the holiday trellis of 50,000 twinkling blue lights. We were lucky enough to catch a proposal under the trellis, which was incredibly romantic!
