Peak foliage has arrived in Northern New England! Join us for a leisurely 8 mile hike across the Franconia Ridge Loop ascending the Falling Waters Trail, hiking the ridge, and descending via the Old Bridle Path trail. Hike time will be about 8 hours with stops on each peak to check out the views, and a stop at the hut on the way down. Bring a lunch to enjoy on the Lafayette summit. Optional potluck and bonfire after the hike. Hikers are invited to stay over at my house at Sugar Hill (15 minutes from trailhead) Thursday & Friday nights if desired. Email me if you have questions about gear or clothing needed for the hike.
Meet at my house to carpool over to the trailhead at 730AM or meet at 745 AM at the Falling Waters/Bridle Path trailhead parking lot (Northbound Side of Franconia Notch Parkway/I93). Email me for directions if needed.
