Summary

This hike is about 5 miles round trip with a elevation gain of 2800 feet. It is steep and requires some scrambling. The hike will take about 6 hours including a lunch on Mt. Jefferson. Beautiful Fall foliage views will be on display from the exposed ridge trail! Hikers are welcome to stay overnight at my house near Franconia (30 minutes from trailhead) before &/or after the hike if desired.

Directions To Trailhead Parking Lot

Meet at Caps Ridge Trailhead Parking Lot (3.5 miles up Jefferson Notch Road from Cog RR road intersection) or Carpool from my house near Franconia. Email me for directions if needed.
