Trip Report/Photos

We could not have had a better day for snowshoeing....even if we had ordered it. The air was brisk; the sky was bright and clear, and the company was wonderful. Once everyone arrived, we geared up and plunged into the snow. The trail from the house to the trailhead was mostly along a snowmobile path. Once there it was virgin snow...except for a few small animal tracks here and there. The hike was filled with laughter and conversation. We made a few stops to observe the scenery, take photos and have snacks. The trip culminated with a relaxing time warming up with soup and cider. It was truly a wonderful day!

I want to thank those who signed up but could not attend for removing themselves and/ or emailing me. Your thoughtfulness makes it possible for others to sign up for trips that might have been full. It is this sort of consideration that makes tis organization great.
