• About me: : Recently moved to South Florida (Palm Beach County) from Boston. Looking to meet new outdoorsy friends, and to find hiking venues in flat, flat Florida. Hablo castellano, un peu de français, i una mica de catalá.
• Favorite Places: : I love mountains, so some of my favorite places are: The Bonds, Franconia Ridge, The Presidentials, and Mt. Moosilauke, all in NH's White Mountains; the Mahoosuc range and Baxter State Park, in Maine; and anywhere in California's Sierra Nevada. In South America, nothing can compare to the Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia, for stark beauty. The photo with the rainbow flag was taken in front of the Cuernos del Paine in 1995. In Europe the Catalan Pyrenees are among my repeat favorites. OK, so there are no mountains in Florida, but there is water everywhere, and the Everglades are awesome.
