The bon fire was lite around 530pm and was going good when people started to show up around 6pm. We had 3 pizzas delivered, as Carl as had to drop out last min. Keith brought chicken for some December grilling, and Hal brought a veggie platter, Kevin even remembered Chips and dip and sausage for New years day breakfast. After we all ate and made our way down to the bon fire the knowledge of NYE being my birthday became know. During the day before the cookout Carl had made, from scratch, a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting, and shaved dark chocolate on top. So during the fire, and after the singing we all enjoyed some of the best cake I have ever tasted! Everyone stayed up to midnight we did the count down and rang in the new year. Shortly afterwards we let the fire burn out and made our way into the warmth of the house, and each person found their spot to curl into thier sleeping bag and pastout. This morning we all enjoy listening to Woody tell us about his bed and breakfast that is being built in Panama while we enjoyed our coffee. Keith and Hal took off after coffee. While Kevin, Woody and myself enjoyed omelets made from the left overs of the veggie platter and the sausage. After breakfast we went out for a local walk around town on the local rail trails and hiking trails. Once I became cold we started to head back to the house with ending the walk with a 6 mile tour of townsend. I do belive that fun was had by all, but I do want to say thanks for everyone that came out, and to Carl for making the cake and sending the pizzas. You all doing what you did allowed me to have the best birthday in many years. :) Thank You.

* added by Relayer * awesome peanut butter choc cake, and good company. Thanks to Twigs for letting us celebrate his birthday with him *
