Nice day, frosty trees, it’s coming! Low clouds early with skies eventually clearing. We dug out fifty one waterbars and cleaned them for next spring snowmelt to mitigate trail erosion. We stopped about ½ mile from the summit when we encountered frozen ground. Our focus was from Tripoli Road to the summit of Mt. Osceola. Lots of folks out. Windy at times with a magnificent view on the summit! The trail is in great shape. Great day to be out, cold & windy......but so nice. Thanks so much to all of our volunteers!!!

Four of us then returned back to our house to chat around the fireplace, enjoy a delicious fresh venison burger [meat provided by John (Nomad), and a yummy Trifle desert!
