Featured Photo Thanks for running this very enjoyable trip. The next day, Sunday, I hiked up Mt. Israel in sandwich and made it into an 8.5 mile loop hike. Great hiking weekend!

16 of us had a great time doing a loop hike to Mt. Roberts at Castle in the Clouds.  All the stars were aligned as it was a great summer day, slightly overcast but in the 70s, and we had a great group of guys and great conversation.    We did the 2.5 miles up the Mt. Roberts trail, picking and eating blueberries and raspberries on the way, and enjoying great views of Lake Winnepesaukee.  We had lunch at the summit, however we couldn't see Mt. Washington that day as it was in the clouds.  After lunch we did the 6 miles down the carriage roads, a longer way down but easy walking.  .Afterwards we went to the Carriage House at the Castle where we enjoyed beverages, great views of Lake Winnesaukee from the patio, and more great conversation.    Thanks to all the guys that joined, and hope to see you soon an another outdoor adventure.
