Hikers originating in L.A. should plan on leaving no later than 7:00am to meet the coordinator at the halfway carpool point (Camarillo Park-and-Ride at US Highway 101 and Pleasant Valley Road) at 8:00am SHARP! (At the Pleasant Valley / Santa Rosa Road exit on northbound 101, turn left at the first signal, onto Pleasant Valley Road, which immediately crosses back over the freeway. At the next signal, you will see a Mobil gas station on the corner to your right; turn left at the signal and loop around to the “Park and Ride” lot.)
