Twenty-four of us met at the YMCA for a try at the indoor climbing wall and a casual swim in a 25 yard indoor pool. We had a two hour private rental of the facility which included two climbing wall instructors and two lifeguards. About half the group tried the climbing wall during the first hour and a few tried it later in the evening. All of us eventually went for a casual swim which included some beach ball playing. The facility also had a steam room for our use.

After the swim most of us headed to Ichiban, a Japanese steak house, for dinner. At the dinner we had drinks and were given a cooking show on table-side grills. The food was good and the show was great, though the time to pay the bill took a little too long due to a confused waitress.

Overall, we had a GREAT time and everyone enjoyed a good winter swim.
