Meeting Location: The group will meet at the Willey House State Park and Rest Area. This location provides plenty of parking for off road preparations. Restrooms and water is available. Once we are gathered and ready we can drive to the trail head as a group. At the trail head parking is tight and along the highway with little space for safe unloading.  The Group will be meeting at 9 a.m.

The Willey House is right on US 302. Travel time from North Conway Area is about 20 to 30 mins. It is recommended that travelers use Interstate 93 to Route 3 and Twin Mountain area. Travel time from route 3 to Willey House on 302 is about 20 mins.  Travel time from Concord NH is about 1.5 hours. Please contact me for ideal routes from any location.

Trip Report/Photos

We hiked from Rte 302 in Bartlett, 2.4 miles in to Nancy Cascades and then in .2 mi, climbed 1000 feet to the top of the cascades and then up another 700 ft to Nancy Pond. We hiked along Nancy Pond and came to Norcross Pond. At the western end of Norcross we sat on the cliff overlooking the Pemigawasset Wilderness.....total hike 8.6 miles with an elevation gain of 2210'.....beautiful, simply beautiful...serene, peaceful.....my personal homage to those who lost their lives on 9/11........great day, great hike......pics posted on facebook under gayskier@yahoo... posted by gayskier for JT.    Thank you JT
