Thanks so much to everyone who joined the deCordova Sculpture Park event today! There were 10 of us in total who soaked in the sun and artistry on display. We worked our way around the park counterclockwise, starting in Alice’s Garden and ending on Waleska’s Way. We walked through the disorienting Crazy Spheroid-Two Entrances, we admired (my favorite) Silent Presence, which looms 15’ tall above Alice’s Garden like an ancient deity of the forest, we created music at The Musical Fence (well, Jim did at least), we admired the masonry of Watershed, we enjoyed the play on scale of Two Big Black Hearts, we worked exceedingly hard to not fall on the ice at Rain Gates, and we scratched our heads looking at Acadian Gyro, a fish skeleton with 10’ legs. Once we were full of culture, we then filled up on lunch. Nine of us traveled to Concord and enjoyed a bite at Main Streets Market & Café. The food was as enjoyable as the conversation. After wandering around a few shops, the group broke up around 3 pm. Feel free to access my photos or add your own here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/DiLpCVCZWU5jphzD9
