Absolutely great hike hike yesterday. It was a 'true' winter hike. Beautiful scenery from fresh snowfall, deep snow drifts, butt sliding. Steve and I hike up Glen Cliff trail to carriage road to the summit of mt. Moosalukee. I broke trail most of the way up and loved doing it. Steve had difficulty doing it. But I still give him a boat load of credit as our last attempt back on Jan 18th he had collapsed on trail. This time he kicked some mountain ass.

During the hike we met up with the AMC club group, so Steve was able dropped back towards the end of the pack so he wasn't breaking trail. That also allowed me to stay in front of the group to break the trail.

With anything in life if the obstacle wins the 1st time, take the loss. Learn from it. And try again after you have healed and grown to prove to yourself that you are stronger than you think.
