Met up with a fellow GOer for a beautiful day on the trails at the Friends of Massabesic Biking Association at Depot Road. Neither of us have been here before, but it was really nice to get out into the woods. There were two types of trails, wide snowmobile trails and the narrow windy mountain bike trails. The wide snowmobile trails were relatively easy to navigate. Lots of views of nature and bodies of water. The single track mountain bike trails were more technical, narrow, with some rocks and roots. Some parts were very clear while there were some sections that were quite overgrown. Bill did a great job with his first mountain bike experience! Overall it was a lot of fun! Gorgeous day for getting out into the woods!

If you find it invigorating to hike along a mountain trail with friends not knowing what’s just around the corner, to get some fresh air, to stop and soak in the views on a summit, and to soak your feet in a mountain brook after a hike, give us a try!
