Summary

deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum is a must-see in New England.  Run by the Trustees of Reservations, it is located in Lincoln, MA, and offers more than 60 works spread over 30 acres.   The museum proper is closed for renovations, but there should be plenty to keep us busy on the grounds.  Be sure to bundle up!  Regular admission is $14, but it’s free if you’re a Trustee member or if you have MassHealth.

Afterward, I thought we could get lunch in nearby Concord.  Adelita is a place known for tacos and margaritas, and the menu looks delish.  I’m open to whatever the group decides, though.  There is also a café right at deCordova if people prefer to avoid trying to find parking in Concord.

Below is the trail map for deCordova and the website for Adelita, if you want to look into either further.  I hope you can join us!

Thanks so much for all of the responses! I heard from most everyone and it looks like Sunday, 2/23, is the clear preference for rescheduling this event. I will update the posting. Please remove yourself if you cannot join us that day. I hope to see most of you (or all of you) in two weeks!

Hi everyone. As excited as I am about going to deCordova this Sunday, I'm less enthused about the forecast. The weather on Sunday is predicted to be rainy, cold, and miserable. Having said that, there was strong interest in this event. Here is a link to Doodle where you can let me know if you are available at any or all of the alternative four dates that I proposed: https://doodle.com/group-poll/participate/dJzgBwgd
