Summary

Lake Gardener and the Powwow River is one of my favorite spot to enjoy fall foliage. This year I would like to share it with you. This is a "bring your own kayak, supd, or canone" event. There are no rentals at the drop in location. However with a quick Google maps search there are many rental places that show up in the surrounding area. If your renting please rent for the whole day as this is a full day paddle. Also please plan on picking up the kayak and then getting to the meeting point, on time. We will be meeting at 10am and leaving the beach on Lake Gardner at 1020am, sharp. Bring a small lunch or snacks, and water for food. At the turn around point there is a sandy beach where we are able to get out and stretch the legs. In the event that beavers have built a dam we will have lunch on the water in the boats. From the drop in location to the turn around point is 2.76 miles making the round trip 5.50+ miles. This is a FULL DAY OF PADDLING.
