I'm organizing a hike at Purgatory Falls, located near Mont Vernon, New Hampshire. This hike is an accessible 3 to 4 miles with a gentle elevation gain of about 500 feet. Here's more info about the hike from All Trails: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/new-hampshire/view-loop-to-purgatory-brook-trail
Let’s meet at the trailhead parking lot; aim to arrive by 9:30 AM as we'll start hiking at 9:45 AM. Please note, parking is limited as the lot is quite small, so I recommend carpooling if you can. The hike itself should take us between 2 to 3 hours, excluding any time we might spend enjoying breaks or the scenery. Additionally, swimming is allowed at the base of the falls, where there’s a natural pool, if you'd like to enjoy the water. **If you are running behind or need to reach me on the day, my digits are 213-705-0486** Please bring appropriate hiking gear, including proper footwear and clothing, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, plenty of water, and any other essentials. If you plan to swim, also consider bringing swimwear and a towel. Those interested are welcome to grab lunch at a local venue afterward. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Sounds good. I plan on going unless if it's pouring rain or thunderstorms. Right now it may just be few scattered showers.
Rain jacket? I am just going to wear my bathing suite. If we are going swimming what's the point to trying to stay dry? Leave a dry set of cloths in the car.
Are we still doing this hike if it rains? As an FYI, the weather for Saturday doesn't look great right now with showers in the forecast, but Sunday looks sunny and quite warm.
