Summary

Join us for a classic White Mountains adventure with sweeping views of the Presidential Range from Mount Jackson’s stunning, open summit! This 6.5-mile loop hike combines challenging rock scrambles, peaceful forest trails, and breathtaking ridgeline views along the Webster-Jackson Trail.

We’ll begin with a quick detour to Bugle Cliff for more scenic outlook and then continue with a scenic ascent to Mount Jackson [4,052']. We’ll continue across the ridge to Mount Webster [3,910'] (gaining about 350 feet of elevation over 1.4 miles). Along the way, expect some sections that require using both hands and feet to scramble up large rocks.
