Wow!  Whata picture-perfect day on beautiful Peddocks Island with the most wonderful group of guys!  We hiked almost all over the island with its long shoreline of pebble and sand (and rocky) beaches.  We marveled at the glacial features is this very special Boston Harbor Island with its four headland connected by tombolos.  Surprises included sightings of buck deer (with big racks!), a large flock of turkeys ( with a huge and frightening tom!) and even a grumpy redneck!  A highlight was the walk through the eerie, deserted Fort Andrews, where the very spooky movie Shutter Island was filmed.  After our extensive hike and lunch, we walked along the long sand beach, picked a prime site and then jumped in - or at least waded - the clear and invigorating waters of Boston Harbor.  Overall - a most incredible day with the most incredible bunch of guys!!
