Hello Gay Outdoors Enthusiasts!

TRIP REPORT!
Chris Griffin from Portland’s Adventure Group sent along the following trip report about hiking to Paradise Park on July 2:
Participants: Chris, Chris, Kevin, Kevin, Steve, Steven, Joe, Jerome, John, and Todd. Lots of name duplications and similarities! We took the Paradise Park Trail from an altitude well below Government Camp up to Paradise Park. The trailhead is about 5 miles beyond Rhododendron, before Highway 26 really starts to climb. The hike gave us 3000 feet elevation gain over 6.2 miles, which is quite gradual The forest is beautiful, but not many viewpoints until we got to Paradise Park. The weather was intermittently drizzly at the very beginning, and we did some hiking through clouds. At the top, we decided to do a small loop, and glad we did. The clouds opened up for a magnificent view of Mt. Hood, some of the meadows, and Zigzag Canyon. One drawback to the humane gradual uphill climb was that the downhill could seem to take forever... Overall distance: approximately 15 miles. It was nice to hike another route to Paradise Park. And we met almost no one on the trail. The quality of the trail is excellent.
---Thanks for the trip report, Chris! Paradise Park is a neat place to spend the day with its miles of trails and variety of terrain.

Q: I was going to ask you if my GO membership shows up as Hyperion Interactive on my credit card statement. I recall you mentioned that it renews automatically. I saw this charge and looked up the website and it deals with gay businesses. The charge was 26.95.
A: Yes it is. You can decline it if you wish. For those of you who do renew, your continued support is much appreciated. Thanks!
Q: Where’s the website?
A: It’s either
Q: Why does the website go away from time to time?
A: The server on which the website lives is available most days, but there is often downtime, which is unavoidable. The downtime is used to upgrade the servers with the latest technology and security measures.
