Camping Weekend at Mountainside

Please join me for a weekend of camping at Mountainside Campground in SE New Hampshire.  The campground has a variety of options including tent and camper sites, cabins, and a bunkhouse.

Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at:

Mountainside campground is located in Hinsdale, NH, and is easily accessed from I-91 and Rt. 119.  To maintain privacy, the campground owners have a policy of only releasing their address when you book your stay.  They will be happy to assist you with directions at that time.  This campground requires reservations and does not allow day-tripping or drive-ups.  You may make reservations by phone or email.  Book early if you want to reserve lodging such as a cabin or bunkhouse bed.

Day-tippers are more than welcome to join us at the Ledges on Sunday around 1PM.  I'll have a GO sign so you can spot me.  Rain, but not clouds, will cancel the Ledges trip.  The Ledges is part of the Harriman Reservoir. You may go to www.swimmingholes.org for more details and directions.

 Hosted by David and Michael at the unique and incomparable Mountainside Campground in New Hampshire, activities included pot-luck supper, bonfires in the evening, and a wide variety of accomodations. Some pictures (attached) include the bunkhouse, tent camping, on-site trailers and cabins, and even bring-your-own trailer. Vinny brought his own tricked-out Airstream trailer (see photo attached), complete with party lights and pink flamingo, air conditioning and television.
