 Wakodahatchee is a Seminole word which means "Created Water."  An apt name for what once was farm land.  The former owner donated the land to Palm Beach County to be restored

Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at:

 Take the Atlantic Avenue exit on I-95 in Delray Beach, and go west until you reach Jog Road.  Turn right, and the entrance to the park will be shortly on your right.  There is no fee for entering the park.  Afterwards, there is always an option to head on over to the Old Key Lime House in Lantana for a late lunch or early dinner.
