If you'd like to engage in a minor bit of exercise before the GO Social Event, join me for this short .6 mile walk from Boston Common to Fritz in the South End. The highlight will be a detour to
We will meet inside the Mass. Transportation Building by the Boylston Place door. Boylston Place is a small alley that starts on Boylston Street (at 120 Boylston) right across from the Central Burial Ground at Boston Common. The Transportation Building also has entrances facing Charles Street and Stuart.
DIRECTIONS: On public transit, the nearest T stops are Arlington or Boylston on the Green Line (Boylston Pl. is on Boylston Street, halfway between those two stops). The nearest Orange Line stop is the one at New England Medical Center, where you will walk down Tremont towards Stuart, and enter the Transportation Building at that entrance.
I do not recommend driving, but if you decide to do so, there is parking at the Boston Common garage.
