On a summery October Saturday, despite train delays, the hike came together in Cold Spring. It was much warmer than expected and the trails were busy. Twelve men converged at the Cold Spring Metro North train station and walked up Main Street until they came to a trail head. The landscape was golden and sunny. It was a lovely day to be out among friends. New faces and some famillar ones chatted, climbed and rested at the overlooks. The hike ended early due to the heat and busy trails, but the camaradie was present and connections made.
