Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at:

I'd like to hike in on the little-used Col Trail, off Route 113 in Sandwich NH.  While there's a sign - COL TRAIL - on a tree at the entrance to the very small parking lot it's not easy to see.  From the west, go 0.35 miles past the Holderness/Sandwich town line.  Entrance is on the right, just after a Sharp Left/30MPH sign and just before the ALLEN PRESERVE sign.  From the east, go 5.2 miles from the junction of 113W & 109 in Ctr Sandwich (staying of 113W) OR go 1.9 miles beyond THOMPSON RD (sign on the right) and OR 0.4 miles beyond a small cemetery and Metcalf Rd sign (both on the left).  Entrance will be on the left.  I think we can get 7-8 cars tightly packed into this parking area.  I'll try to get there early and stand out at the road to look for you.
