Please join me for this 6-7 mile hike along the traprock ridge in Meriden CT, scaling the 720' summit of Lamentation Mtn and 688' summit of Chauncey Peak (total ascent of 970') with views
...From I-91N/S, take exit 20 to Country Club Road. From 91N, at the end of the exit you'll take a left to get you up to Country Club Rd and then a right; from 91S the exit ends at Country Club Rd and the take a left. Follow Country Club Road east into Meriden (becomes Westfield Road). After you pass under and by the quarry operation, Westfield Road will take a sharp left. Instead you proceed straight ahead into Giuffrida Park (800 Westfield Rd, Meriden, CT 06450) and to the large parking area back and to the right. We'll meet by/around the sign board with the park map.
