Please join me for this 6-7 mile hike along the traprock ridge in Meriden CT, scaling the 720' summit of Lamentation Mtn and 688' summit of Chauncey Peak (total ascent of 970') with views

Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at:

From I-91N/S, take exit 20 to Country Club Road.  From 91N, at the end of the exit you'll take a left to get you up to Country Club Rd and then a right; from 91S the exit ends at Country Club Rd and the take a left.  Follow Country Club Road east into Meriden (becomes Westfield Road).  After you pass under and by the quarry operation, Westfield Road will take a sharp left.  Instead you proceed straight ahead into Giuffrida Park (800 Westfield Rd, Meriden, CT 06450) and to the large parking area back and to the right.  We'll meet by/around the sign board with the park map.
