If you have been waiting for someone to post an EZ bicycling event your wait is finally over! Please join me in a leisurely 2 to 3 hour afternoon bicycle ride along the 8 mile Derry - Windham
...From I-93 take exit 4. Head towards downtown Derry. The Abbott Court municipal parking lot is immediately next door to Sabatino's Italian Restaurant. Parking is free. Look for my black Nissan Frontier pickup truck.
Trip Report/Photos
The day was blessed with perfect weather conditions for a leisurely afternoon bicycle ride. Temperature was in the mid 80s with plenty of sunshine. There was perfect attendance with everyone who signed up for the trip showing up promptly for the start of the ride. One rider traveled as far away as the Hartford, CT area. We had a rider take a minor spill at the very beginning of the ride. Thankfully it was nothing serious. Note to trip leader to carry a first aid kit.
After completing the ride the group grabbed some food and drink at a local Italian eaterie where we continued socializing. A big thank you to everyone who participated in this event.
