Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at:

 The Trailhead is located 3 miles from MA Route 2.  At the intersection of Central Shaft Road and Old Florida Road (old florida road is not a usable road anymore). Just beyond the state forest headquarters at 260 Central Shaft Road. Please note depending on were you are coming from GPS might send you on Blackmore road.  This road is closed.  Just stay on Route 2 and shortly after blackmore road you will see signs for savoy state forest.

 It was a sunny warm clear day. There was a light coating of snow on some area of trail.  We had lunch at the half way point at spruce hill.   Then went on to do the rest of the trail.
