Please join me for this 4 mile loop hike to the iconic Heublein Tower in Talcott Mountain State Park. The tower is open from 10AM - 5PM and offers beautiful views of central CT in all directions
...By whatever means (GoogleMaps, Mapquest, GPS) get yourself to 560 Simsbury Road (Route 185) from either Simsbury (to the west) or Bloomfiled (to the east). We'll park in the parking lot for Penwood State Park (diagonally across the street from the parking lot for tower access, on the north side of 185) which is larger - and hopefully will not be filled up - and meet at the sign board there.
