The Purgatory Brook Trail follows the scenic Purgatory Brook which along it's 3 mile stretch of trail has 3 different water falls (upper, middle, and lower). The section of brook we will be hiking on ...
Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at: 1.On I-93 in Manchester in between exits 5 and 6 merge onto I-293 following the signs to get onto and stay on NH-101 W. 2. Continue on NH-101 W following the signs till the highway ends. 3. In Bedford, NH at the traffic light turn left to stay on NH-101 W and proceed 17. 6 miles. 4. In Milford, NH at the traffic light just past the rail road track continue straight onto N. River Road for 0.8 miles. 5. At the 4 way intersection continue straight across onto Purgatory Road and proceed 1.4 miles. 6. In Mont Vernon turn left onto Dow Road and proceed 0.5 miles and park at the cul-de-sac at the end of the road. If you have a GPS you could use the address 17 Dow Road, Mont Vernon, NH 03057 as an address that would get you within a few tenths of a mile from the cul-de-sac.
