We will meet at the lodge for 1:30 and ski for about 2 and half hours.  Grafton Pond, located in historic Grafton Village in Southern Vermont, provides groomed trails for conventional cross

Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at:

From Londonderry, VT and west, follow Rte 11 east to Chester. Turn south on Rte 35 (by the True Value hardware store) and follow to Grafton. Turn right and then left in front of the Grafton Inn. Follow Townshend Road 3/4 mile out to the ski area.

From Bellows Falls, VT and east, follow Rte 121 west through Saxtons River into Grafton. Turn left in front of the Grafton Inn. Follow Townshend Road 3/4 mile out to the ski area.

From Brattleboro, VT and south, follow Rte 30 north to Townshend. Turn north (right) on Rte 35 and follow signs to Grafton. Turn left toward Grafton at "Y" about 3 miles after turning onto Rte. 35. Ski area on right after another 6 miles.

From Springfield, VT and north, follow Rte 11 to Chester. Follow directions from Chester above.

 


Trip Report/Photos

 It was a nice day for sking. Not to cold or warm.  Trail conditions were great.  We ski around at a casual pace. This gave the poeple that did not know each other a chance to talked and get to know one another.
