Another Kampout has come and gone. This year’s event had about 130 people in attendance. With many new faces and campers from as far away as Reno and Santa Barbara, the Kampout Committee is extremely pleased to rate the event as a success.

This year, Kampout featured a movie theatre and improved sound system. Returning events were the very popular Progressive Kocktail Party and Kamptown Races.

A new and improved “kitchen” provided two breakfasts and a great dinner to hungry campers. Once again, the Red Lantern and the Den generously provided beer busts on Friday and Saturday.

Planning for next year’s event has begun, and as promised, the Committee is announcing the theme…”Kampout 2008…A Tropical Paradise”. So break out your Hawaiian shirts and hula skirts and join us September 5-7, 2008.
