The Photography of Joel Rogers

Sea kayaking has been a life-long love affair for photo-journalist Joel Rogers. From Thailand to Istanbul, Alaska to Mexico, Roger's expedition photographs have captured the mystique of paddling through unknown waters to exquisite beaches, long ago abandoned settlements, and remote offshore islands. His work has been featured in Backpacker, Geo, Islands, Men's Journal, National Geographic Adventure, National Geographic Traveler, Newsweek, Outside, Sea Kayaker, Sierra, and other publications. His kayak photographs and written essays have culminated in two books, including the award-winning Hidden Coast, Coastal Adventures from Alaska to Mexico. Rogers is based in Seattle, Washington. Rogers stocks with AG Pix.
