These sites range from GayCampers.com, CampGayUSA.com, RuralGay.com, GayOutdoors.com and others. Most of these sites differ from the more general sites in that folks online are coming to these sites specifically with the thought of camping in mind.

One of the best is GayCampers.com. The site has an extensive list of campgrounds for the United States, Canada, Europe and Oceania. Listings range from resort and RV campgrounds to small, isolated campgrounds. There are some listings specific to women, while others cater to men only. Each listing has a button to click on to find out the weather forecast; ideal to help you make your choice for the upcoming weekend and/or week. The web site also has information on gay B & B's, hotels and resorts.

There will probably be other such web sites in the future. For the gay and lesbian camper, this simply means you have channels from which to find gay campgrounds, at no additional cost to you.  This gets you outdoors to meet other gay and lesbian campers.
