Join us for a late-summer kayak on the Nashua River. It's Friday the 13th, but unfortunately Camp Crystal Lake is a little too far away. :)

We will meet at Petapawag Canoe Launch in Groton, MA.

Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at:

The entrance for Petapawag Canoe Launch is to the left of 37 Nod Rd, Groton, MA 01450. There is a small parking lot there, or additional parking on Nod Road. There is also a kayak drop-in across the street at the Nashua River Canoe and Kayak Launch at 1 South Road, Pepperell, MA 01463.

It couldn't have been a more beautiful evening on the Nashua River. We saw a wide range of wildlife, including a blue heron, swans, an eagle and its nest, bats galore and ducks for days. We got back right at twilight with just enough light to strap the kayak to the car. What excellent start to the weekend!
