I went solo on this mid-week hike. Mount Hunger is not a 4,000 footer but starting at a lower elevation, I still logged a 3,600 foot gain over 10 miles for a hiking time a little under five hours. The weather was summer like but pleasant under the shade. Not a soul on the trail. Given the recent rain, some parts were muddy and slippery. The tripod on my selfie stick broke on me which explains the lousy pictures posted from this hike. Until the next adventure.
