Three of us did this 14.25 mile hike. It was a little longer than planned as we added the miles that we missed on the previous hike. This hike began at Sugar Run Gap and ended at the Falls of Dismal Creek with an easy creek crossing at the end.

The first half of the hike had some views. The first half of the hike also ended at Wapito Shelter following a gradual 3 mile descent. We took a nice break for lunch at the shelter.

The last 7 miles of the hike covered flat terrain with numerous bridge and creek crossings. It took a while to find a safe way across Dismal Creek at the end of the hike and we got across with relatively dry feet.

We completed this hike in 7 hours and 15 minutes.
