Let’s get together for a mid-week hike in New Hampshire.  In addition to views from the peak of Black Mountain, the scenic Chippewa Trail offers several views during the ascent.

We will wait 10 minutes for you if you are running late; otherwise you'll have to hike on your own. 

The trailhead for the Chippewa Trail is located on Lime Kiln Road in East Haverhill, NH.  If coming from NH-25, Lime Kiln Rd is located 5.2 miles west (or north) of Glencliff or 4.8 miles east (or south) of junction of NH-25 and NH-10 in Haverhill.  Head north on Lime Kiln Rd for 3.1 miles.  Watch for a major left turn at 1.4 miles (DO NOT go straight here).  The trailhead is on the right.

If coming from NH-116, Lime Kiln Rd is located in Benton.  Head south on Lime Kiln Rd for 1.8 miles.  The trailhead is on the left.
