John found a side trail near the end of the loop that circled back to the main trail - nice find! We saw a snake that made Chuck scream (like a lady - just kidding Chuck). There saw a rock tangled in the roots of a tree on the stream bank. Also had a nice snack/lunch near the tip of the penninsula. There were a few trees that the beavers went to town on. We found 2 sets of 4 pins at each corner of 2 separate bridges. Wondered what those were about. Total of about 3 hours - 4 to 5 miles total.
