The moon was almost full so I decided to go out for a moonlight snowshoe hike.  The full moon for February is called the Snow Moon.

This is a snowshoe trail I made in my own neighborhood, just a few feet from my house.  The trail is short, about 0.6 miles end to end.  I hiked to one end and turned around, so my total mileage was about 1.2 miles. I was out for 1 1/4 hours; a lot of that time was spent taking pictures.  The temperature was 4 degrees and there was no wind.

Part of my trail follows a brook and I do believe some of the animal activity I saw was from an otter.
