Carl and JT joined the Queer Men of the Berkshires (Q-MoB) for a spectacular day at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA.  Kripalu is North America's largest yoga and holistic retreat and educational center.  The day started with a morning yoga session at 6:30 a.m.  All nine attendees attended a guided 90-minute hike through the woods that surround the Stockbridge Bowl, also called Lake Mahkeenac.  The group practiced social silence for the first hour of the hike, allowing all five senses to take in the crisp fall scenery.   Lunch after was incredible.  Kripalu is known for its delicious food, leaning on seasonal, organic, and thoughtfully prepared dishes; this meal and the rest of the day lived up to our expectations and then some.   After a mid-afternoon educational session on therapeutic yoga for overall well-being, the group ended the day with a private yoga session taught by Paul Curry of Q-MoB.  Paul did an excellent job of supporting those in the group new to yoga but at the same time pushing those with more experience.  Shockingly, it was his first time teaching a yoga class and he could not have done better!  All in all, it was a day to remember.  Thank you so much to Q-MoB for organizing this wonderful event!
