Summary

HIKE DESCRIPTION: This is an easy hike through a beautiful hemlock ravine to a spectacular waterfall that is lovely on a hot day.

WHERE TO PARK: Because the trailhead is in a residential neighborhood, you must park at Brayton Elementary School

  • rain-gear
  • swimming trunks if you want to swim & towel
  • appropriate footwear (that can get muddy),

WEATHER: Please check the weather in North Adams from your home before you leave for the hike, so that you will be able bring the right clothes to deal with any last minute changes in the weather. Weather in the Berkshires can change quickly and it always good to be prepared for rain, wind, & unexpectedly cooler or hotter temps than were forecast the day before.
