Summary

Stoney Creek is a 4,461 acre park with hilly terrain is enhanced by the beautiful 500-acre Stony Creek Lake. Nature Center, picnicking, swimming, disc (Frisbee) golf course, boat launch and fitness trail. Ice skating, ice fishing, tobogganing, snowboarding and x-country skiing.

What we will do is hike an easy terrain in the wooded area near the Nature Center. The photo shows part of the trail. Bring some water and  a snack. We will hike for  about 2-3  hours and maybe expolre other parts of the park. This is my first time organizaing such a trip and its more like a first step in building a commuinty for future activities. The park have canoe rentals for  possible future trips.

Directions To Trailhead Parking Lot

The Park requires entry fees ranges from $10 for daily fee to $29 -$45 for annual membership.

However, I will shuttle all those who want to meet and ride with me in the 2 miles ride from Meijers nearby. Meet me at the parking just behind the Meijers gas station which will be in front of the Meijers store. There is a yellow fire hydrant. I will be waiting in a dark grey Honda Accord from 9:50 AM and will leave 10:10 AM.
