Summary

Join us for a 2.5 mile hike each way  on the Fauver Link Trail to a great viewpoint (Pike's Peak) with a great view just before the true summit of Plymouth Mountain.    Total of 5 miles round trip, 1000 feet of elevation gain.    The hike has a relatively moderate grade, and we will eat lunch at Pike's Peak, and we can also check out the true summit which doesn't have a view.    Joe and I have done this hike several times, but apparently there are more viewpoints beyond the summit.  We may try to explore before the date, and thus give an option to do another viewpoint after the true summit if people are interested.

We are keeping the hike at 5 people to make it easier to practice the recommended social distancing of keeping about 6 feet of distance between everyone.     Join us for a day in the great outdoors for some fresh air and some much needed camaraderie.

Please only sign up for this hike if you live in New Hampshire due to the coronavirus situation.  Please contact me for any extenuating circumstances, for example if you have a second home in New Hampshire and are living here.

Traction devices such as microspikes are recommended as there will be some snow and ice on the trail.

Directions To Trailhead Parking Lot

From the south end of Main Street in downtown Plymouth (US-3/NH-25) near Rite Air, take Warren Street for 0.2 miles to a four way intersection. Drive straight through (slight jog to the right) and proceed on Texas Hill Road for 2.3 miles. Turn right on Old Hebron Road (gravel) at a large and obvious boulder where Texas Hill Road curves sharply to the left. In 0.2 miles the parking lot and trailhead is on the left.  If using GPS, you can just enter Fauver Link Trail in Plymouth.
